"Anuraag" wins Filmfare Award for "Best Picture".

There was a tie in the awarding of the "Filmfare Best Actress Award". Because of the tie, the award goes to both Dimple Kapadia for her performance of Bobby J. Braganza in "Bobby", and Jaya Bhaduri for her performance of Uma Kumar in the film "Abhimaan"
