Comments – It has been suggested that this song is actually in Shuddha Nat.  However, even within the classical music community, there are differences of opinion as to what exactly constitutes both Gaud Malhar as well as Shuddha Nath.  When the somewhat overlapping nature of these two rags is added to the often careless interpretation of the filmwallas, we are left with a situation where an exact categorisation of this song may be impossible.   However since the plurality of opinion categorises this song as Gour Malhar, we are bowing to popular opinion and placing this song here.

Comments – There seems to be some debate as to whether this song is closer to Gaur Malhar or to Kamod.  There is a fair amount of mixing here, and it has been argued both ways.
